How long it took for you to get BRP?Selina001 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 09, 2020 11:08 amHi guys,
Finally! I am so tearful right now.
My husband’s BRP card arrived this morning (it was sent to our Solicitor)
After so many weeks of waiting, stress and emailing every HO department, contacting two local MPs, this issue is resolved.
All I will say to anyone still waiting is that I think they are now really trying to clear the back log.
I am unsure if contacting the local MP helped or if it was our turn anyway. The card was printed on 4th November, we got a call last Friday from the complaints team saying it was on it’s way!!
The solicitor sent us a picture and thankfully, there are no errors on the card.
Thank you everyone on this forum who helped us all the way from applying for the spouse visa through to now.
I will continue to post on here and try and help/guide people where I can.
If anyone needs any information, please let me know

I filled the brp not arrived link on Nov 11th.
I got a reply saying that I need to wait 20 working days to receive a reply instead of 5 working days. Am I the only one who go 20 days instead of 5 days.
I wrote an email to complaints@homeoffice.gov.uk. however there is no response from them yet. Please send me any other email address where I can escalate the issue.

I would ask this as a separate topic in the forum.soly20 wrote: ↑Tue Dec 01, 2020 9:30 pmOh wow, so it's not just me! By the way, my visa vignette on my passport is valid till the 31st of January 2021, with multiple entry! Does anyone know if i can travel using the valid vignette before getting my BRP?MKC wrote: ↑Tue Dec 01, 2020 9:18 pmI received approval letter on the 10th of October as well!soly20 wrote: ↑Tue Dec 01, 2020 8:30 pmHi everyone,
I applied as Sole representative of an overseas business. I got the approval letter and the Vignette on my passport on the 10th of October. I landed with my family on the 5th of November. I quarantined for the 2 weeks then went to post office, no BRPs. They told me there are some delays. I went again last week, nothing again. I wrote to https://www.gov.uk/biometric-residence-permits/collect and last Thursday, no reply yet, only an automated message saying reply in 5 business days.
I have to travel in January and I can't without the BRP! Is this a trend these days? Its going to be 2 months from the letter soon!
I have been chasing since the 24th of October. I have sent emails to BRP team, complaints team, UKVISETM. The only response was 1.5 weeks ago saying the enquiry is forwarded to caseworker. No more news...
Good luck! Hope you will get yours soon though as you have to travel.
Congrats and thank you, hope so too!MKC wrote: ↑Wed Dec 02, 2020 5:46 pmI would ask this as a separate topic in the forum.soly20 wrote: ↑Tue Dec 01, 2020 9:30 pmOh wow, so it's not just me! Here is my BRP timeline:
Decision recieved on 23rd September 2020 (SET (M))
BRP status: Awaiting
The status of escalation below:
1. 07.10.2020 – raised this matter via www.gov.uk/brp
2. 12.10.2020 - raised this matter via www.gov.uk/brp
3. 13.10.2020 – letter was sent to BRP Deliveries & Collections, P.O Box 195, Bristol, BS20 1BT.
4. 26.10.2020 – raised this matter via www.gov.uk/brp
5. 26.10.2020 – letter was sent to BRP Deliveries & Collections, P.O Box 195, Bristol, BS20 1BT.
6. 26.10.2020 - Email received from BRP Team stating that the BRP team came back to me and told me to take it up with my caseworker.
7. 26.10.2020 – Emailed sent to the caseworker at UKVISETM@homeoffice.gov.uk FAO to the caseworker who sent me the approval letter and BRP delivery instructions letter.
8. 07.11.2020 – Raised this matter again via www.gov.uk/brp
9. 07.11.2020 – Sent another email to the caseworker at UKVISETM@homeoffice.gov.uk FAO to the caseworker who sent me the approval letter and BRP delivery instructions letter.
10. 08.11.2020 – Raised an online complaint with the UKVI directly via https://www.ukvi-complaints.homeoffice.gov.uk/reason
11. 08.11.2020 – Raised this matter with my MP – The MP did not respond.
12. 09.11.2020 – Finally, the caseworker replied to me stating that the card will be delivered in the next few weeks.
I'm not sure how much it helped, but with each communication I itemised by attempts in this way and sent it to them, to show the many attempts I was making.
Tried calling them thrice, raised online complaints, nothing seems to help.
I dont have the caseworker email to directly contact them. Do you think that sending a letter to BRP Deliveries & Collections will help?? I dont understand what more to do!! Please help
I would suggest to write a letter to the BRP team (itemising the attempts made to get an update on it as above ) and systematically report it not delivered on the www.gov.uk/brp, I would suggest after every 5 working days. Also, do write to your MP to raise this matter with UKVI.
Hope this helps.
I have received decision letter on 06th October and since last week of october chasing for BRP card. There is no response from BRP team.
