If not asked for them likely not required.

I would suggest you carry the evidence with you as if they do ask for it and you don't have it, your application will be delayed and become a postal one.

Always better to go prepared.

Sounds good, will do. I'll get my mum to post the correct version of her birth certificate this time ;)

Our appointment is this weekend and I have one final question!
Section 13 is the verification checks for bank accounts, utilities, etc. I have provided bank statements from my husband and my joint account (he is actually applying at the same time time as me too), as well as a savings account that we put money into from our joint account but doesn't have our name on it--an annoying quirk or options with our bank unfortunately). Do I need him to sign the second page of Section 13, or is that only for if you have stated that someone is 'supporting you financially' as mentioned earlier in the application, but doesn't include if you have generally joint earnings as a married couple?

Thanks again! Thank goodness this is nearly over!

You need to sign it for any documents that are in joint names or the other applicants name.

ILR granted and with a relatively quick wait time!
Thank-you so much for all of your help! What a relief!

Now we just have to apply for our daughter's citizenship! We plan to use the Checking Scheme as you suggested so we can keep all of our documents, however we do have a couple of EU trips planned for the next few months (unavoidable with my line of work). We travelled once early on without a visa for her (when we didn't realise we needed one!). Should we be ok to travel with her if we bring her proof of application for citizenship as well as our ILR cards?

Great that you got it granted.
Where you asked for birth certificates of your parents/grandparents?
(You had raised in your initial question that the set(O) form no longer has it as a requirement

I supplied all of mine regardless, but my husband lost his birth certificate somewhere at home in our mountains of paperwork and didn't have his, and they didn't ask for it at all. I should have asked them if it was required, in order to report back, but I forgot.

I forgot to update this, everything went fine with the appointment and ILR granted. THANK-YOU for all your help.

We also applied for my daughter's British Citizenship and that was granted within approx. 2 months.
