Hi everyone

This matter is also causing me to worry as I have travelled a lot as well. Since having my first DLR in 2011, I have travelled about 13times till date and each time I travelled I was away for about 5weeks at a time But I never exceeded 180days in a year. I travelled on 27th of December 2017 and got back February 9th 2018 and travelled again on April 25 for my grandmas funeral and got back May 12.

Will that affect my application for ILR?

It is not 180 in total. In is any period of 180 in any rolling 12 month period.

Could you please explain what a rolling 12months means as my understanding to that term is January to December or for example May 2017 to May 2018. Am sorry if it sounds dump but I have already paid £3074 for my appointment for the 16 of July and I am very very worried. And also please can I send you all the travels I have made so far so you could help me do the calculation just to put my mind at ease.

ANY 12 month rolling period, not calendar year and not 'May to May' for example. It can be any 12 month period.

And write the total days next to each trip. I certainly don't have the time to do all these calculations for you. You need to give complete information.

In which 12 month rolling period do you believe you have exceeded 180 days???

It is not a difficult calculation. Just glancing at it, you don't appear to have exceeding 180 days in any 12 month period.

Again, it is NOT 180 days in total in the whole 6 years.

Ok thats a big relief. Is it calculated from that very year or the year before? I guess the term rolling is whats am confused about. my Maths is very bad. lol

Rolling means ANY continuous 12 month rolling period.

Not this year or that year or from this month to that month.

In May 2015 even though I didn't have to appear in court, I had a court fine of £415 and 6points on my licence of which I paid the fine, but am not sure where to fill it in as the question is a bit confusing to me.

Is that a ivil penalty under UK Immigration Acts? and should I declare it?
