A third party sponsor is financial support outside your family unit, like a friend or extended family member.
Yes that is what i thought but we filled in Yes and now i am just concerned about this, when we should have just said no. Do you think this will an issue?
@zimba, Please for this above post, is this something that I should be concerned about?

I am just seeing your reply. So I will just leave consent from 3 unsigned then and just go ahead with consent 2. Thank you.

Thank you for your reply and will just go ahead with the two forms without the 3rd one. Also, is the declaration that I am supposed to sign for verification checks related to Consent Form 2 (since it has to do with joint accounts) or is there a separate type of declaration form that I am supposed to fill?

Yeah but since we already submitted the form indicating YES to that question instead of NO, should we explain the error in the cover letter to the case worker and mention that we do not need any third-party support?

Greetings @Zimba. I was discussing with my spouse about how we could rectify the issue I raised yesterday regarding third-party consent. Since We are going to send in the first town consent forms, should we also send the third form but not signing it and simply put a note on it to say that we did not use any third-party support and that it was an error on our part? This is was something that a person from ILR facebook said she did as she faced a similar issue with us. Much appreciated for your kind help.

There is nothing to rectify. You are grossly overthinking this

Alright. So I will leave it as it is and not bother with the 3rd consent form. Apologies for the stress.

@zimba My colleague's friend's wife is also about to apply for her dependent ILR. However, I was told that her husband (who already has his ILR from his long residence) did not have a Skilled Worker or Global Talent visa. His ten years were a combination of his Student Visa and Graduate Visa routes, leading to his 10-year settlement. Please, I would like to know if his wife, who has been his dependent on his previous visas (from 2019), is eligible to apply for ILR and if she is, which form should she use?
Thank you very much.

Depends what dependent visa category her visa is and how long she has been in the uk with other visas.

She came to the UK in 2019 and has been dependent on her husband's student and graduate visas to date. They wanted to know which application set they should fill in.
