I paid for a priority service but it took longer than a calendar month.
I paid almost £60 calling them, I had to pay to complain! Do not call this line as they do not really have access to any information apart from that your visa is 'being processed' or tell you that 'a decision has been made'.

I received the email from BDHC stating my application was processed on the 5th Jan 2018, it took a day to process the application, and since it was a weekend i had to wait for 2 days before i could collect my passport.

That is 17 working/business days from the time the documents arrived at the application centre until the passport was back in my possession with a decision having been reached. As an additional point of information to the timeline, I received an "application not straightforward / complex" email on 9 March.
