The immigrants at large - registered with immigrationboards or otherwise - are deeply grateful for this immensely helpful forum. I suspect very few "lawyers/solicitors" will be able to match the expertise shared here.

Experiences and complexities shared by people at this forum are humbling and made me realise that I am not alone. In fact, my case is as straight as it could be. I hope however that someday there is some revolt against the inhumane and extortionist practises by Home Office.

Acknowledgement: each month at17/11/2018,18/12/2018,19/1/2019,17/02/2019,17/03/2019 and then letter saying that need more time to reach decision as my application raises comlex issues. I do not know what it is, sholud be pretty straight forward. Previous extentions were quick, submitted almost the same documents.

Hi everyone,

Documenting this here for my own sanity more than for anyone else! Is slightly discouraging that everyone's application recently seems to be taking almost the full 6 months, but also comforting to know it's not unusual to have to wait!

I was hoping to get to go skiing in April, but it's looking like it may take longer than that, based on other people's recent timelines. Disappointing, but would rather just have it and be done with it, than to have to wait about all over again! Double the ski trips next year it seems!
