13th of June applicant here, i know they say 6 months processing time, but to see people who applied after are getting decision doesn't make it consistent, why some people get delay i will never know, the wait and rant continues.

I’ve checked my application online and it has been decided on the 21st of September. I didn’t get any letter from anyone. What should I do? It’s so frustrating

A lot of applicants who applied in May are now getting approvals with June/July applicants.
So in the next few weeks you should get decisions.
The volume of applicants could differ month to month hence could be delays maybe

My husband applied end of May, we received the email confirmation on 9th June but still waiting for a decision - as with others, not sure why some from May/ June are taking longer than others from July. He's been in the UK as an EU citizen for nearly 20 years, married to a Brit and with kids who are Brits....hoping he'll hear something soon though.

I or the letter today for my ceremony!! Yayayyyy!!!! I have a doubt now, one friend of mine told me that I have to stay for a minimum of x months in Uk now before I could go away in another country in order to mantain the citizenship otherwise it’s possibile that they could revoke it. Is that correct? Because I was planning to move for a year to Australia and then come back. Any ideas?

Nonsense. Suggest do not listen to your 'friend'.

I found this very weird too! I was thinking that maybe she was referring to the part of the application in which they ask if you intend to live in the Uk after you obrain the citizenship

Does anyone know whether the checks/searches for good character etc for ILR are the same as naturalisation? I mean I passed ILR a year ago and my circumstances are the same. I applied early May and am still waiting but I guess I've got nothing to worry about and it's just a matter of sitting it out? Thanks

Possibly as obviously 'future intentions' is important as is the granting of the privilege of citizenship.

For British citizenship, they are a bit more strict and check a lot more stuff.

June 6th applicant here. I really am starting to lose patience. Immigration will claim they work on "date of receipt" but yet people that as far and June 30 getting approval even some July. I understand every case is different and some may applicants are still waiting but it's just frustrating to see people that applied same time and after you getting approval. But then it has not been 6months yet. Just need to rant a bit
I am also June 6th applicant with literally no complication, with straightforward case of Tier-1(G) + ILR. Hang On don't lose patience

I applied on May 17th and the online status is still 'awaiting' but I'm taking it easy by setting my mind on something else (something more interesting, even if it's less important). Sometimes I feel my application is forgotten and is not with any case workers but I will just wait (that's all I can do) and I have stopped checking the online status everyday. I will worry about it and get angry when 6 months have passed.

I applied on 19.05.17 and waiting since last update on 02.06.2017. I sent an email to check for an update but got a general reply after a week saying we process applications on receipt date basis and once its decided case worker will contact. Great

This is so annoying...so much money spent and no updates since 17.05 apart from AWAITING DECISION status on 30.05. Looks like May applicants are here for a long wait, unless I'm really unlucky. I thought my application is straight forward. 10 years in the same Job, 13 years in UK, British Spouse. No Criminal records, No CCJs. What else do they need? I'm tempted to call and ask, but I know they will say if it has not been 6 moths then all I can do is WAIT WAIT WAIT.
The worst thing is that after 6 months has passed, they will say the same...zzzzzzzzzz
