7 year child confession rule

Post by deejay » Mon Apr 09, 2012 12:32 pm

Hi,

One of my friend lives with his family ( husband, wife and two kids ) illegal. They came here on Student Visa in 2008 and after that they are now overstayed. They have two kids. One is came with them and the other is born here in uk.

Could you please tell me that how they can apply for stay in future like under 7 year child confession rule and here is also supreme court judgement I dont know that it is related to this rule or might be under human rights laws. so will they can fall under this judgement for their stay in uk in future or if not then how they can?

Thanks

I assume you mean the 7 year child concession (not confession) which was withdrawn in 2008, and in any case applied to families with children where the children had lived in the UK from an early age for at least 7 years - and therefore does not apply to your friends.
