Dear Members,

Please kindly answer my query i am in a lot of stress. I started my job in April 2007 andgot my work permit visa in July. I was on a training programme to become a teacher. I did 5 months and then had to take a sabbatical leave. My dad was really ill and was in the hospital due to all this stress and pressure from the training my employer asked me to do voluntray for 3 months ( the leave was on family medical grounds and was for 6 months) so i have less responsibilty at work they said they still needed me for work and happy for me to start training after leave so i can concentrate on my family issue more and have chance to get experience so i can pass my training, i wasn't getting paid for it as it was the grant from the govt. i then went to my country for 3 weeks and then came back to UK. my father got admitted to hospital again due to kidney failuer then i left for my country in feburary and came back in March and started back my training in April 2008. I got extension on work permit twice. I then switched on to Tier 1in August 2009 as my insitituiton was becoming Acdemy i found another job staright way. Since then i am on 3 years Tier 1 and haven't been out from UK more then 180 days. My question is am i eligible for ILR? is that sabattical leave make it worse for me? it was unpaid. I am meeting all 75 points as per my 12 months salary i was paid for the 5 months i wokrked before the leave but not for the sabbatical leave? i dont have payslips for those 6 months of sabbatical eleaveand i wasn't provided with p60. even if i ask HMRC to provide tax info it will show less tax. Do i have any chance to get ILR? please please advise sson. Thanks. What should i do?
