IT Problems for 11th April 2012 Croydon PEO Attendees

Post by bluebird2011 » Thu Apr 12, 2012 9:39 am

Hi

My appointment for ILR was yesterday 11th April at Croydon office. Decision was not given due to their IT problems. Is there anyone else who had the same issue on 11th April?

Regards

i believe that due to lack of staff and so many back logs they need more time hence they came up with this scam. I attended on 10th April and they said the same thing. How can Home Office can't resolve IT issue from 28th March? This is intentionally done.

Hi

My appointment was for ILR (SET-O) @ 8.00 AM in the morning.
They just told me that everything else is fine and they are just waiting for the biometric finger print verifications. They said they would let me know soon but did not give any timelimit.

What abt you?

My appointment was 8.00 AM in the morning. They kept me waiting till 4.00PM and then told me that they want to retake my biometrics. Then @5.15PM they told me that they are unable to make the decision today.

I wish you don't have to face all this. So best of luck for tomorrow but be mentally prepared for the long wait.

My appointment was at 9AM on 10th April. They exactly told me the same thing that all the documents are fine and i will get a call by the end of this week. when i asked if there is any contact number to know the update and the CW said it is of no use as general line wont give much information. I think this IT is issue is just to clear the back logs. Hope we all get the approvals :)

HI,

To calculate continuous qualifying period, did you use the date of entry clearance (visa issued or date of entry?

Hi,

Do they allow mobile in side the home office building? I was thinking that in case payment through gets stuck, i could give a call to Barclays to release the payment.

Thanks

First person in through the door on the 11th waiting till 5-45 to know that they cannot process the application as Biometric results have not come back. Kept all the documents. Waiting for their call now.
Please do update if anyone gets a call who attended on the 11th of April

Hi guys,

I was the victim of UKBA delay at 11th april 2012. My appointment was at 3:20 pm. After doing all necessary checks they took my documents and said we will contact you later on. My application was straight forward on SET M.

But today, I received call from UKBA around 12 : 10 pm And my application was successful. First they happy to send my documents back via registered post but after 10 minute they rang me and said my documents are too much so they requested to collect it. So I will collect it on tuesday.

So good news is that they people are working now on saturday to clear the back log.
I hope you guys will be receivng calls as well.

Good luck to all of you...

Applied SET ( O) last month on 30th, file held for further checks and haven't heard since then. Promised by the CW that I should receive call within 2 days, it has been 17 days, no response. I am kind of fed up waiting and hoping. I fear there could be a long wait ahead?

Anyone knows about these further checks? Particularly in my case, I changed employements three times and granted WP/FLR's every time i changed employement. My second employer informed HO when i left but I applied for my next WP within 28 days time.

Please anyone who is familiar with a similar story?

Thanks for your time.

Hi All

No news yet. Still waiting.
I have also booked my wife's same day appointment on 23rd April for FLR (M). Not sure if I hear back anything from them by then.
Lets wait and hope for the best.

still waiting

Post by abz120 » Wed Apr 18, 2012 9:41 am

I am still waiting for the call.
I would like to check with others who have taken online appointment.

While I was at the PEO and while the case was progressing I use to get emails confirming my appointment. On the total I got about 12 emails on the day of the appointment..
Surprisingly I got a similar email yesterday after a week.
Have any one seen this sort of indications.
