3 Sources of income

Post by Mostar95 » Fri Apr 13, 2012 2:26 pm

I have sources of income - all from UK:

1. Tuition income
2. Income as a self employed accountant
3. Income from employment (Sainsburys check out work)

My question: How CW treat my case?

same as someone with 1 or 2 sources of income, even if all of them are at the same time or not

I am assuming you are also paying tax on your Tution income?

Yes. Not at source but as a self employed.

Yes. Not at source but as a self employed.
Then Yes as Manka10 has stated above, your earnings will be treated as sum of all three incomes. The HO caseworker is only interested in how you have fulfilled the earnings criteria. Whether from a single source or multiple ;you would only need to provide the evidence mentioned in the guidance notes.

Income from 1 and 2 will be treated as self employed income. but you must work out your profit from this income as only your profit before tax and NI paid will be considered. if you think all the income received is your profit, you will need to back it up with your annual returns/accountant letter.

income 3 will be a single income and added to the profit from income 1 and 2. as such making your total income from all earnings equal frofits from (1+2) + gross salary from 3

Good Luck

yes a peson can earn from many sources

yr concern about suspect on earning by HO is true , if HO select yr file for review than they will try to dig out all yr contacts and timings , if u r geniune than u will be ok
