ILR for wife.

Post by rmansuri » Fri Apr 13, 2012 5:08 pm

Hello,

I am holding my ILR since last year (Aug). At that time my wife was one year sort for qualify for ILR. I have applied for her extension under FLR M and she got two year visa valid until Jun 2013. In this June, she is finishing 2 year but now she is planning to go India for five month and returning back to Jan 2013.

my question is, is there any problem with stay (5 month) in India and her 2 year period of stay here in UK will be valid for ILR when we apply in Jan 13 ? Do you guys reckon to get ILR first and then fly to India or it doesnt matter if I apply this year or next year?

By the way, we have 5 month old boy but he is holding british passport.

Regards,

vinny
