housing benefit

Am a non eea unmarried partner of a self self-sufficient eea national who is depending on my income for her self self-sufficiency,we have health insurance, we are considering getting housing benefit for 3 months ,then stopping it.i work but my hours has just been reduced ,so am thinking applying for the benefit before i get another job .just want to find out if it will affect our eea3 and 4 application when we apply in 4 years time.right now am on eea2 and my partner is her eea1 card.
