Can I apply Tier1 Extension for dependents from India ?

DA,

I am currently working in UK on Tier1 visa and my visa is expiring in AUG 2012. Presently my wife and a 3 years old kid are also in UK as Tier1 dependents.

Is this possible if i can apply for my Tier1 visa extension alone here in UK without dependents and my dependents (wife & Kid) apply for tier1 extension ( or may be fresh Tier1 dependent from India) later on after few months ?.

Is Rules allow this is OR this is mandatory to apply Tier1 extension along with dependents at same time ?.

any help or pointers on this issue shall be much appreciated.
