Wage slip question - spouse visa

Post by m3y » Mon Apr 16, 2012 8:10 pm

Will it be an issue if i just submit 4 months (Jan2012 - April 2012) wage slips for a spouse visa application?... i have misplaced my earlier wage slips and its too late for me to order more from work as i am going to pakistan and the end of the week and payroll will take atleast a week to send out copys.

I am also submitting the following which will support my employment status:
- Employer letter confirming i have been employed there since Jan 2011
- 2010 - 2011 p60 (this years not yet available)
- 6 months Bank statements showing salary going in

Will this make up for the fact i only have 4 months wage slips?

yes, but play safe and make sure that your letter from employer has your annual salary on it, so HO cna see that, or send a copy of your employment contract. that will make your case stronger.just a suggestion.

the employers letter doesn't actually have my salary on it, but I do have a pay review letter which has details of my total salary for last year and my new salary for this year i will include that aswell

Personally I shoudl think it would be fine, but just to back everything up, include the P60's like you have mentioned, any employment letters including the salary review one, (When was the dated?) also I would maybe suggest going further back on your bank statement, if you can provide 12 months that would be good as that will show you where employed with same company and the salary coming in. On the cover letter make sure you include the fact that you do not have more payslips and explaining that you have included the extra documents to prove and show you have been earning with the same company and your salary coming into you bank.
