To call or not to call HO:Change of Employment,Visa expire.

Hi all,

Came on Tier 2 for 1 yr, resigned after 6 months, Jan 2012. Got another job and CoS in March 2012.
Type of application: Tier 2 General ( Change of employment)
Date of visa expiry 10 May 2012

1. Date application posted : 19/03/2012 received at HO: 20/03/2012
2. Date payment debited 26/03/2012
3. Date confirmation letter dated 23/03/2012 : Received on 13/04/2012
4. Date Biometric letter received : Awaiting
5. Date Biometric Done : Awaiting
6. Date Biometric card received : Awaiting
7. Date Passport received : Awaiting

Now since my leave expires on 10 May 2012 and my sponsor said i can start work after i get my documents back from HO. Last week i emailed my sponsor if they could track my application, they said they cant, although they are A rated (NHS).

Now, i am thinking that i shall wait until next Monday and them ring HO on Tuesday. Is that a good idea if i explain to them that i am not working at the moment as spending my savings and waiting only for my Biometric Letter and other documents to follow??

or are there any other option??

very anxious and depressed :-(

Thanks for reading this guys.

Good things can only happne to those people who wait patiently. These things take time, as you can see from the timelinese posted by people in this forum. Hope for the best.
