Hi All,
I hope can someone suggest me with my ILR application.
I am due for ILR in May 2012 and was on (HSMP+Tier1) 2+3 years.
Out of UK for 270 days in last 5 years. All vacations ( no business trips)
Contracting job for last 5 years with different employers.
But I had my paid leave in contracting while I was away from UK for which I can get the letter.
Question - If i had 20 paid leave (in contract job) in 1 year i.e 20days*5years=100 days.
Do i need to deduct this 100 days from my 270days out of UK or this 100 days is part of 270 days out of UK.
Please confirm?
Thanks in advance.

it's ooutside the 270 days because annual leave and business trips are not included in your 180 days allowance

thanks for you reply.
so that mean's if i deduct 100 days(annual leave) out of 270days i will be left with 170 days so you think i should be fine with getting ILR application approved.
Thanks

I dont think you have to deduct this yourself ... but its the case worker who will take the decision as to disregard these days from the total count ...
You still have to list all your absences in the form or separate sheet ...

I am thinking of getting letters from each employer for my annual leave and then take a change of ILR...
let's see..
any other suggestions...
although i m here in UK since 2004-2007 on student visa - do you think they will consider that part as well while making their decision.
