Tier1 General Dependent Extension: Subsisting relationship

Post by kingbobby57 » Thu Apr 19, 2012 4:06 pm

Dear All,

Myself and my wife are here in UK ,I will be applying Tier1 General extension for myself and dependent for my wife. We will be applying both together.

My question is on dependent form which talks about subsisting relation:
My wife does not have any bank account here in UK, or any other docs.
Many of the threads here in this forum are talking about submitting the joint bank acc doc, email chats etc...

how to prove relationship apart from marriage certificate and photographs

The mandatory doc mentioned is Marriage certificate which we will submit along with few photographs.

Is this sufficient ?
As she is already here in UK, we dont have any kind of chats, Phone bills as we use prepaid plans.

Any response on this would be helpful.
I had given only the Marriage Certificate when applying for the first time, there was no issue.

If you sufficient time on your hand, why do you not register your spouse on one of the billings and have the proof. If not, you are ging to have to do it with a marriage certificate only

Is your wife registered with GP, does she have NHS card, DVLA? All these documents bear address printed on them and can be enclosed with application. I did the same and also asked her GP to provide a letter confirming her registration and address. Altogether its more than enough.
