Dependant Maintainence Query

Hi,
Sorry to ask a stupid question. I have applied for PSW on 1st April with one dependant. I have shown £800 balance for myself as maintainence. My dependant has a separate bank account and I have included her bank statements for £533 separately. My friend confused me now saying I should have shown my dependant's amount in the same bank account as mine and not a separate account in her name. I know it's too late & I cant do anything now. But just want to know if I have done anything wrong?

hello
there is no need to show amount for both in the same account.it does not matter whether you show in your account or any other account. but yes other account should be of your dependant.
so dn't worry.
