Hello there,
I am non EU national (Serbia), however as from 2009 we are allowed to travel to Schengen countries visa free for purposes of business, tourism or visiting, for 90 days stay in every 6 months period.
I am travelling back and forth to EU for years already, every month for at least 5 or 6 times, staying just a day or two, so I never overstayed nor had a problem as such.
However, there was this complicated situation, which I am seeking an answer for. I was working with several Austrian enterprises for 2 years already (most of my EU travel was to Vienna), and everything was just fine until a month ago I had a dispute with one manager of certain company, regarding some financial claims he had against my company here, which are settled in the meantime.
During the time we tried to find a way to settle the debt for the benefit of both companies, he said he will "go to the police, to report both me and my company" and "they will ban you from entering into EU, and you will be able to travel only to the Austrian court and back", which sounds totally silly for me, as I never had problems with Schengen immigration authorities ANYWHERE.
Now, I do not know if he could have done that, as attorneys took the case before everything was settled, but I would really not want to be treated as some criminal next week when I have to go to Germany for example.
My question is, could I have been brought into SIS? Client just knew my first, last name and he knew my address in Serbia. He never had my passport, or any details from it, and I guess I would have known if I was written there?
Could anyone out there help with some opinions, or at least advice what to do further on?
Thanks a lot!
