Swith From Tier2(ICT) to Tier1 Dependent while staying in UK

Hi,

Presently i working in UK with Tier2(ICT) visa, My spouce has Tier1 visa working in UK.
I would like to check can i swith from Tier2(ICT) to Tier1 dependent while staying in UK.

In the following post, some of the members posted that swith should happend from the home country.
can you please confirm this.

You have to apply outside the UK

So i understand that i have to travel back to my home country and again apply for an Tier1 dependent visa and travel to uk on that.

Then i have to show the maintaince funds in UK or india bank.
