Regarding Tier-1 Visa (Dependent) 12 month stay requirement

Hi,

I am planning to apply for dependent visa of my wife and kids in May, want to check if I fall into category of more than 12 month stay in UK (so that I have to show £533*dependents+800)

- I first entered in UK from India on Tier-1 on 26th Oct 2010 and went back on 29th Nov 2010.

- Came back to UK on 19th May 2011. I am here since then( although have been on vacation of 2 months since then).

I guess 12 months start from the day of entry on respective visa (In my case Tier-1 general)
Does number of days you are out of country count for this 12 months criteria ?

Please advise. I want to apply for dependents in India on 20th may 2012 and if I don't fall in clause of more than 12 months stay, I won't be able to apply as I won't be able to show funds required for < 12 months rule.

This will be touch and go. I think you will need to show per the criteria of <12 months. Even if it is >12 months, check your findings above of £533 and £800 - I AM SURE THIS HAS CHANGED !!!
