Entering and leaving UK

Post by artyv » Mon Apr 23, 2012 1:39 pm

Hi all. I know this question has been asked a million times but i still dont have a definite answer.

I believe the maximum number of days absent from UK should not be more than 180 days.

1. Does this include the day you enter and leave the country?

2. Has anyone who spent more than 180 days outside UK been granted an ILR?

I have spent 220 days outside UK, but none of those trips were more than 2 weeks long.

Please HELP!!

ILR using Form (O) - I was on work permit for 2 years then got trasnferred to Tier 2.

Absences were mostly weekend trips to europe. The longest single holiday was 2 weeks.

Thank you

If i choose to go, would this definitely affect my ILR decision? I can prove it to them that it is a business visit.

PLEASE HELPP!!!
