10 years long residency

i have been reading the new guidance notes for ILR on 10 years basis and according to that it say there is no need for Biometric required if making application within the UK.

please clarify

I will be sending for ILR next week and I have managed to correct my name on passport, is there any problem gonna be by the home office ?

Old name: Ali khan ( example)
New Name: Muhammad Ali khan

My new name deed is attested by FCO.

Include the name deed with the application.
