FLR (M) Expired passport

Hello,

I am waiting for my FLR visa. Ive sent my documents early february 2012. Got their reply on 06/03/2012. Did my biometric on 02/04/2012.
The problem is my passport will be expired on June. What happen if my passport expired and they havent approve my visa?
Ive called them and on a recorded msg it said that if i ask my passport before my visa is approved the application will be withdrawn..

I hope i could get some advice here.

you will be issued a separate BRP should your application be successful and therefore the fact that your passport may expire before a decision is made will not matter.
