Dependant ILR- Husband applying for British Nationality

Post by mohi » Wed Apr 25, 2012 5:32 pm

Hi,
I came to UK as dependent of Tier 1 General. My husband then got Indefinite Leave to Remain and consequently I switched on to FLR(M) and my visa |(dependant of settled person) is valid till September 2013.My husband is now applying for British nationality so do I have to get my visa status changed from FLR(M) to some other if my husband changes from ILR to British national?
Thanks

No you don't need to change your status as spouse of a settled person and spouse of a British citizen are the same category.
