Applying ILR - list of documents to provide?

Post by rengasakthi » Wed Apr 25, 2012 10:22 pm

Hiya,

I am planning to apply for ILR in the month of Aug so I would like to know what all the documents I need to provide along with the application form?

I was in Work Permit for te first 19months, and after that I am on Tier1(General) until now. And have passed the Life in the UK test last week.

I was just going though the "SET(O) Guide.pdf" but it didn't say anything about the points I need to score for Age, UK Experience, Salary, Qualification, does this mean I do not need to meet the points, I.e., I can apply for ILR as long as I have completed 5years?

Do I need to maintain any minimum fund in my bank account for the last 3 or 6 months?

Can you help me here please?

Age: you will get the same points as you claimed in your first grant (Tier-1) and you don’t need to provide any more evidence for it.

UK Experience: you will atomically get 5 points as long you are claiming previous earnings in UK.

Qualification: Same as age, you can claim the same pints as you did in your Tier-1 and don’t need to provide any evidence for it (provided you are relying on the same degree).

Salary: You need score enough salary points for 12 consecutive months out of last 15 months.

At the moment, there is no maintenance funds requirement for ILR.

It depends when did you get your first grant. It would be either 75 or 80 points.

OK.

I got my first TIER1 VISA was on Mar-2009, and then got extended on Aug-2011.

Which document these details are mentioned, I was going through the guide document, and the form, no where its mentioned about the min points I should score unless I missed it.

Thanks for your reply so far.

I just posted a thread about this - does one need to show P60s for the past 5 years? I've seen people list this in their documents, but can't see in the application for Tier 1 General that they are required. I have everything else ready so will go to the post office in the next 2 hours if I don't need them (don't have them, so waiting on HMRC letter)!
