Biometric Permit Notification

Hi
I received my acknowledgement last week but the letter states that it has been passed to caseworker for consideration. However, there is no mention of biometrics in the letter.

I understand from the guidance notes that biometric letter is sent after the acknowledgement letter and the processing time starts thereafter.

How many days does it take to send a biometric letter froma ack. letter?

Is there any means to make the process faster?
