Hi,
Has anyone recently submitted application for BRP (RC)?
My passport and BRP were both stolen abroad and I re-entered UK on single entry one month valid visa.
I sent application for BRP (RC) with 2 days of returning to UK along with new passport. Today I read about TOC form for getting existing BRP transferred to new passport. I hope I need not fill the TOC form since my BRP was also stolen. Should I be concerned?
My other concern is I provided debit card details for payment and it has been 6 days and payment hasn't gone out of my account. Does UKBA takes this long for taking out payment? I am getting bit skeptical about this delay at very first stage. Any advise?
Cheers!

I am in the same boat as well. Submitted application last week for a replacement BRP because mine was stolen along with my passport. It's been a week and no money has been deducted and I have not received any acknowledgement letter as well. I called UKBA today and they said 65% of BRP (RC) is processed within 20 working days and 95% within 6 months!

I have the same issue. My passport and BRP card was stolen within UK. I have applied about a week ago. No acknowledgement letter received yet and no payment taken from the account yet.

And I have plans to go to my best friend's wedding in Asia in mid July now it is looking unlikely based on the research I have done and the delay that everyone else is experiencing for the replacement BRP. Let's keep each other updated if we do hear anything from UKBA.
