Sponsering a General Visitor

Hi

My uncle will be sponsering my parents who wants to come UK on visiter visa. They wish to submit their application in 1st week of May. My Uncle is going to prepare all documents by today or tomorow? Can we scan the sponsership documents ti my parent in inida or would they have to subit the original documents? Post will take atleast 3-4 working days to reach the documents to India.
