Do not want to show self employed earnings- Extension

Post by mhkhan » Fri Apr 27, 2012 2:47 pm

Dear All,

I meet the income criteria comfortably from the salaried sources and therefore would like to avoid the extra load of documents and attestations associated with self employed earnings. I do have paid tax on this income though.

Would like to know if it is mandatory that I should show all income earned or should just have the proof at the time of extension application for the one income I am claiming.

Any advice will be much appreciated.

Is your earnings criteria is being fulfilled by just your salary, then it is not necessary to show any other (self employed) income

its not mandatory to declare all earnings. it's a good idea to leave out the self-employed part to keep your application simple.

as long you are paying taxes on your non-salary income you should be fine in case of general background verification
