employment history - how long it takes

hi,

Does anyone know how long the employment history letter from HMRC takes to arrive ?

I hope it is less than 3 weeks as I have an appo in 3 weeks and I have requested only today for this year....

From memory I think it takes somewhere between 3 to 5 weeks. You might be lucky and get it before your appointment.

Mine arrived within 7 working days. The earlier you call to make your request the better.

7 working days or 7 days ? I asked the lady whom i spoke to and she said it will take 14 working days, which is almost three weeks..

I hope it comes in a weeks time

Hi,

Whats the number to contact them ? I have dialled them up on one of the number - 03000 552 292, they advice me to write a letter to them ?

The number I contacted is the right number ?

I called this number 01912135000 for my employment history. they sent me in a week time. :)

I requested mine on Monday & they said it should be there within two weeks.

Also he said that they can only provide last 4 years and not five years

I made request on 2nd may did not receive yet.

I called again & request another one again . make sure you ask guy name so that he will post sometimes they don't take it seriously as we really need it.

don't worry it will take 2 weeks I have applied mine on 26 of June I got it today.give them call again ask for last 5 years of history and they will sent it to you .
