Employee Resistance

On the downside, hiring immigrants may meet with resistance from your current employees. If your employee base mainly consists of people of a certain ethnicity, cultural background or who come from the local area, it may be difficult to assimilate immigrants into your work culture. You may need to implement diversity training programs to help get everybody on the same page and to develop a healthy work environment.
