English Test Centre in Cusco, Peru?

Post by pauldm21 » Sat Apr 28, 2012 9:17 pm

Hi folks,

I realise that on the surface, this post may seem a bit lazy/stupid. However, having spent a good for hours searching online for this info, I'm almost at the end of my tether!

Can anyone tell me (preferably from experience, because it seems like a grey area) if there is a UKBA approved English test centre in Cusco, Peru? I have been advised there is, but having checked the 'list' (below) I can't find it?!! I know there are at least a couple in Lima but my wife lives in Cusco and if possible, needs to get this test out the way before travelling to Lima!

http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitec ... -tests.pdf

thanks in advance for any advice.

There's a few Cambridge test centres in Peru:

The "open" centres allow you to just take the exam rather than a course.

Just to add, the KET test is the minimum level Cambridge exam that's on the approved list.

Thankyou.

Still nothing in Cusco specifically though. My wife has been told she can sit the test there, but really struggling to find an approved test centre there!

We've had an unbelievably tough journey this far, I just need a break and someone to tell me theres a test centre in Cusco and what its called!

This place looks like they might offer the Pearson exam which is on the UKBA list:

How are you getting on?
We had this exact same problem no test centers in Cusco so we had to go to Lima was a pain but luckily my fiance passed and we have just submitted our application at the embassy in Lima for a UK fiance visa.

If you need any help or advice let me know mate, I know what your going through..............very stressful!!!
