ireland non eu spouse visit visa from eu directive2004/38/ec

hi just want to know is it easy or difficult to get non eu spouse visa from europe like belgium etc.
british citizen wife and pakistani husband already got to accompany eu spose visit visa to belgium schengen.

can they apply from belgium to ireland visit visa as well or they got to be resident in belgium before they can apply it or just after a month or some thing living in belgium they can apply it under the directive/2004/38/ec

or they have to apply it from applicant country of origin i think its not the case

if living in Belgium with an article 10 residence card, then it's very easy; no visa required.

hi EUsmileWEallsmilethanks for the reply . visa has been issued and they are going to travel soon at the moment they are not in belgium once in belgium can they apply under eu directives to visit ireland as well .
or they have to wait for residence card to arrive but residence card is going to take 5 to six months approx.
with out having a residence card can they get the ireland eu spouse visit visa after a month or something living in belgium once they arrive.
or is it difficult and from pakistan which is country of origin of non eu spouse 8 to 10 weeks is processing time foe ireland visa which they cant wait it .

I would suggest, one step at a time. Move to Belgium. Get residence card. Visit Ireland.

If there is an urgent requirement to visit Ireland and the Belgian residence card is not ready, they could apply for a visa.

many thanks for the reply can you tell me how quickly belgium issues the eu family member residence card for non eu family member once we are over there and i am working which is aleady arranged job and accomodation will we be able to get with in 4 months or it takes longer thanks

I'm sorry, but I don't know the how long it will take. They have up to six months according to the directive.
