This might be a very basic question for many of you.However I often get confused on the usage of these terms used repetitively on UKBA policy guidance so needed clarification.
1.Leave to remain - Is this term applicable for person who is already in the UK and applying for a further stay from within the UK?
2.Entry clearance - Is this term applicable for person who wish to submit a visa application from outside the UK?
Please confirm whether my understanding is correct or not.
