Change of circumstances form

Post by samira_uk » Tue May 01, 2012 6:19 am

Dear All,

This question made sometimes before but the answers were different and I am still confused.

I applied for Tier 1 G in Nov 2009 and entered the UK in Feb 2010. Since then, I've changed my address about four times. Today, I just noticed the change of circumstances form. I am wondering that if this form is only for the visa applicants in the UK and to inform the UKBA during application or any migrant (including me) should use it and inform UKBA about any changes in the address?

Actually on the form it is said that the form should be used by the applicants after July 2010 (which I applied much sooner) and in the past I travelled outside the UK many times and everytime I put the correct address on the Landing Card.

Thank you in advance.

Change of address is not exactly a change of circumstances. You do not have to notify using that form everytime you move (least that is what I think) Though you would need to include all those addresses in your extension application, so might be worth to pen 'em down somewhere safe with the dates
An [Expensive] Immigrant journey has ended 19/08/2015. Good luck to you all out there...

To my understanding, Change of Circumstances form is only to be used if your application is in process and some of the information you provided in your application form chances. For Eg: If you have applied for your extension and then chance your address whilst your application is still under consideration, then you should use Change of Circumstances form to inform UKBA of your new address. Don't think you need to bother UKBA otherwise.
