need help tier1 general extension+ caution from city council

Post by tommy2013 » Wed May 02, 2012 12:00 pm

Hi All,

I have just filled my application form for my tier 1 G extension. And there are some questions I’m not sure.Hope anyone can give me some help:)

G1. Please tick the relevant box to confirm the points claimed by the applicant on the
basis of his/her age at the date of application for the first grant of leave in the category.
Applications for leave to remain where the applicant has, or has had, leave as a Highly
Skilled Migrant, as a Writer, Composer or Artist, Self-employed Lawyer, or as a Tier 1
(General) Migrant under the Rules in place before 6 April 2010, and has not been granted
leave in any categories other than these since 6 April 2010
Under 28 years of age 20 points
28 or 29 years of age 10 points
30 or 31 years of age 5 points

all others applications for leave to remain:
Under 30 years of age 20 points
30 to 34 years of age 10 points
35 to 39 years of age 5 points

I was 29 when I applied tier 1 g first time in 01/07/2010. and I’m 31 now.
So which one i need to tick : is it Under 30 years of age 20 points

J5 Earnings in pounds sterling,

if the total earings is 26005.7( use 11months salary to claim the points). i need to fill in 26005.7 in this question or just put in 26005? If need totally same with payslips, i must need to put in 26005.7,rt?

J6 The applicant should input his/heer earnings into the tier1(general )point based calculator and provide his/her total earnings claimed in pounds sterling

if i fill up 26005.7 in J5, then I try to put in 26005.7 in point based calculator, but the system just can type in 26005, so in this question which one i need to use? 26005.7 or 26005. if i use 26005 in the form, then it is different with the total of 11months payslips(26005.7)

F1 Have you beed convicted of any criminal offence in the uk or any other country?
F5 Have you ever been charged or indicted in any country with an offence for which you have not yet been tried in court?

I received one "simply caution" from city council about the trading sandards. court not involved, and also not arrested by the police. just ask me to sign the simple caution paper. and told me will recorded in the crb check.

which one i need tick for question F1 and f5 , yes or no? do i need to mention it? if i need, which question in the application form need to fill up?

just saw this case, so worried about it.

1 - Tick under 30 and claim 20 points

2 - Yes, input an exact amount

3 - What you inert in Points calculator does not matter if it only varies by pence, but it may do in the application form

4 - F1 & F5 - Both NO
An [Expensive] Immigrant journey has ended 19/08/2015. Good luck to you all out there...

F3: Do you have any civil judgments against you or any civil penalty under the uk immigration act?

so for the simply caution, should be answer yes or no?
