Visitor visa for Father and Mother in law

Post by AdvyJag » Wed May 02, 2012 1:44 pm

Hi ,

I am planning to take my father and mother in law to London from India.

They are retired business people and they have some deposits and property in India.

I am going to sponsor their visit and they have already booked their tickets by themselves.

i have few question while filling out the application

1. relation of the visitor - In the online application form i cannot see Son-in-law as a relationship. There are options like Son, others etc. Can i pick Son in that case ?

2. i don't have a complete tenancy agreement, but i have a rental agreement and tenancy deposit receipt. Will that suffice as proof for accommodating them along with us in London ?

3. They are planning to come here for less than 6 months, There is a question like how much would it cost personally for you for the stay in UK ? - Should i answer personally not costing anything to him and Son-in-law will bear the expense ?

4. How much money do you receive from family and in what frequency ? Should i answer that their daughter support them on need basis and quote recent transactions ?

Thanks,
AdvyJag
