Tier1 visa deadline and application

Hi,
I need your advise please.
I have been looking for a date to apply in-person on window and eventually found a date on 4st of June for Tier1 General. My visa expires on 5th of June.

Now i am a bit confused whether i should go on window as its only one day before my visa expires or apply by post in good time before my visa expires.

I am worried in case any issue arises or they ask for additional docs or want to do some further inquiries etc, i would run out of visa the next day and will they give me time to submit required docs etc? Also will i get right to appeal in case something goes wrong. Hopefully all will be good but i have to consider all possibilities

If i understand correctly you are looking for earlier dates which i think is possible if you try every night from 11:50 to 00:15 and i am sure you will get one which is more suitable for you.

you can 'Reschedule' it by going into your account and look for any available/suitable dates. When you Reschedule it, previous appointment will automatically be cancelled and you will be given new one.

Although the new appointments are released at 00:00 but there are people who cancel the appoitments and book a more suitable during above mentioned time.

Also as there is no specific time for these appoinments except midnight when the new appoitments are released. I would suggest you to check at least 15 times every day at different times.

Thanks for your reply, yes i am looking for an earlier date. But i also need advise if in case i cant get an earlier date, will it be ok to go on windo just a day before visa expires. If something wrong goes will they allow me time to submit additional docs or appeal agains the decision.

You are taking a big risk.
you never know when their IT systems go down and they turn you back on the day of your appointment and ask you to book it again.

As your VISA expires the very next day, I would suggest either get an earlier date (if possible) or do a postal application.

Leaving it till the end is a very huge risk.

Agree with mantasingh, do not leave it till a day before your visa expires, just sit on computer as explained in my previous reply and try to book it as early as possible and make sure you still have plently time left on your visa if anything goes wrong with ukba computer system etc.

Get all the documents ready and be prepared to go if you get an appointment on a very short notice.

I have seen appointments avaiable for a short gap. i.e if i am booking appointment today on 4th May there were appointments available for 9th, 10th May etc.

Worst case scenario. If you are unable to find an earlier date, and the IT system crashes on the day of your PEO, please make sure you have everything in place to make a postal application. As long as you submit your application on the date of visa expiry, you will not be violating your stay.
But i do hope things go well for you and there are no system crashes
