switching from SEGS/work permit to student visa

hi all

i am starting my MSc in Informatics is kingston university from january 2007. after successful completion i will be eligible for 1 year work permit unders SEGS.
My question is after my work permit finishes can i switch back to student visa incase i dont get a job , and can i do that from within uk?

this is a new scheme so rules a bit unclear. so if i can ask another question. is it possible to switch from other forms of work permit to student visa, has some one done that? because this might answer my earlier question
