Hi,

Can I marry my 1st cousin? Would this be a ground for refusal if I do for entry clerance?

(ii) the applicant and the Relevant Points Based System Migrant must not be so closely related that they would be prohibited from marrying each other in the UK

You may, if the UK law(s) allow you to marry such a "1st cousin" in the UK.
You may not, otherwise.
Contact a family law solicitor to check.

A refusal will be an outcome only if the marriage is deemed as unlawful as per UK law(s).
