letter from Bank confirming the maintenance fund

Post by tapas_16880 » Sat May 05, 2012 10:44 am

Guys, Just a quick question on T1 gen extension. For the bank statements showing my salary, that I know has to be a continuous 12 months statements within the last 15 months before the application.

But the letter which I will get issued from my bank confirming my fund maintenance, is it mandatory that the letter has to be dated within 1 week before the application.

So, lets say if I am applying for PEO on 27th June, will I have to get the letter from BANK on fund maintenance on or after 20th June?

Thanks,
Tapas Sarkar,

It has to be dated within a month from the date of application.

Then what if the balance goes down on the later dates after the letter issue date? If UKBA gives a call to confirm with the bank?

You have to apply within one month of the date of issue of this letter.

I do not think anyone will take the risk of keeping funds below the required level bfore submitting application. I know people who made sure funds do not go below the required level even until the approval (this is not requirement though).
