Does my mum need LITUK test?

Post by letsfindout » Mon May 07, 2012 10:00 am

Hello,

first of all thank you for reading my post and thanks again for your valuable advise.

My mother got ILR 20 years ago and till date she hasnt applied for naturalisation. She has been renewing her indian passport. now she thinks that she cant be bothered to renew and apply for British passport. my question is, does she needs to do Life in the UK Test or is she exempted to have it.

Thank you all

Unfortunately, unless she is exempt, she is required to satisfy the KOL requirements.

I had a feeling she has to do it. problem is its hard for her to study and understand stuff even British citizens are not aware of that knowledge.

Thanks Vinny
