Another Biometric invitation letter

Post by Frustrated tier1 » Tue May 08, 2012 8:58 am

Need some advise:

I attended my biometric enrolment on 29th March with my family. We all register together. On 4th May I got a letter from UKBA telling that I have not registered the biometric and should do that. Their letter is standard letter which said if you did, ignore the letter. I called up UKBA to inform that I did enrole but I was advised to take the biometric again, which I did on the same day??
Has anyone experienced such case so far. I was expecting the decision on my application last week, but seems I back to square one.

Hi,

I got biometric letter twice, but my case is different. They specifically mentioned in the 2nd letter that the photograph taken for my son was imperfect hence they mentioned to do the biometrics again.

If you had biometrics for your kid then I suspect the same must have happened. Did your 1st biometrics went well?

In my case, my son took around 30 mins for his photo to be captured. I am not sure how it must have come up in the 2nd time.

My timeline is here.
