UK Tier-1 Band

Hi Guys,
I would like to know that if I get a salary of exactly 40K. And the salary band is like

30K-39,999 - x points
40K-49K - Y points

are there any chances that they will give me x points instead of y? thanks in advance.

if your salary is exactly 40k and not a penny less than you will get 'y' points

if your salary is exactly 40k and not a penny less than you will get 'y' points
It's not specifically your salary, but your sum of earnings in the twelve month period.
