Tier 1 ext. application after 05.04.2012

Post by Air » Wed May 09, 2012 11:16 am

Hello,

I've posted my Tier 1 ext. application last week and out of curiosity decided to check the timelines. According to trackit, apparently no payments were deducted after the fee rise date, which is already a month ago. Does anyone know a particular reason for that or any information which could shed light on whats going on?
I've posted my application a bit in advance (16.July is the expiry date) to have some time to sort out any possible problems with the application should they arise, but now it seems UKBA has at least 1 month backlog of postal applications.. looking at that it seems processing times for the current ones can go up to 5-6 months easily.

I'll be very grateful if someone has any information about what's going on..

Thanks.

Keep an eye on the below mention thread:

It will give you an idea on the timeline of Postal application. As you said it yourself, it seems they have too much backlog which is getting cleared before they will start processing new applications. Hence the delay.
