my wife is a british citizen and we live abroad since 5 yrs . i have been granted eea fp which expires in october 2012 . is it possible for me to apply for spouse visa ILE from abroad while i still have an availible eea fp ?

Have you passed the Life in the UK Citizenship Test? If the answer is "no" then you cannot possibly be granted ILE.
