Post by PK » Thu May 10, 2012 8:55 pm

Hi everyone ,

My HSMP visa expiring on 1st july .I need to travel 1st week of june and will be back last week of june . once I come back I will apply for my visa exension before 1st of July . Will it be a big problem or blunder travelling in June ?

Will be appreciated if someone reply promptly.

Thanks in advance .

In terms of actual travel I don't think you will have a problem. UKBA staff at the airport Immigration Control desk may comment on your visa expiry date on your return, but you should be able to explain.

However personally I think you are cutting a fine line, with just one week of contingency, if something happened to stop you from returning to the UK before your visa expired you'd then be denied entry. This is just something to bear in mind when making a decision.
