My son's visa

Post by Otka » Fri May 11, 2012 8:10 pm

Hello there,
I applied for settlement visa from mongolia but he was issued 4 years visa which stated that to join mother. I think it can not be right cos i paid full settlement visa fee and he is only 12 years old. i was expecting indefinite leave to remain.
Can anybody know what i should do with visa now? please help me.

Many thanks guys.

i was expecting indefinite leave to remain.
Any particular reason why you were expecting ILR?

Above is your first-ever post and you do not give us much background information. Are you British? Your wife is Mongolian? Her current visa status? Does she already have her ILR? Or is she still on a 2-year or 27-month spouse visa? Or some other sort of visa, expiring in 4 years time? If yes, what sort of visa is that?

What are the exact words on the visa and is the visa issued in line with the dates of his passport perhaps?
